The Lithuanian trio soloists „ El Fuego” performed an evergreen recital on the Greenopolis Romanian stage on Wednesday, October 6th.
The event is part of the cultural and artistic performances „Music: Unity in diversity” designed to take place at the Romanian Pavilion aiming to enhancing the cultural exchanges between the participant countries at Shanghai Expo.
„Beyond the differences of traditions or languages, music is an universal language, that unites the cultures. Through these performances we aim at fostering the communication among different cultures that are present at Shanghai Expo”, Ferdinand Nagy, Romania’s General Commissioner, declared.
„ The general concept of the Romanian Pavilion is based on the interactivity. Our visitors participate not only at the multimedia, photographic or gastronomic expositions, but also are part in the entertainment performances.” the General Commissioner of Romania Pavilion added.
Within the Music Unity in Diversity Project, artists from Bolivia, Venezuela, Romania, Indonesia, and Turkey have been performed at the Romanian Pavilion.
The Program will continue until the end of the Expo Shanghai 2010.
